GALERIE FARAH FAKHRI and the French Institute of Côte d’Ivoire collaborate to enrich Abidjan’s artistic and cultural landscape by fostering exchanges between local and international artists.

This joint programme offers a 4 to 8-week residency for artists working in visual arts, design, and curation.

Open to artists from the continent, of Afro-descendant origin, from the Caribbean, or with projects deeply rooted in Côte d’Ivoire, the residency provides a platform to redefine contemporary African identities through artistic dialogue. It embraces cultural diversity while recognising a shared history. The programme also aims to reposition Africa as a major centre of artistic production, energising a global network of artists and promoting the creativity and innovation emerging from the continent.
