" My residence has been so inspiring and educative, the experience has been incredible. Seeing different people and also getting to know them, sharing stories about their relationship with the materials that I use in my art works is really helpful to my work. I like the environment, the people and their way of life. That as really played a a very significant role in my art works, I have been able to incorporate that in my work", said Kwaku Yaro during his residency in February 2024.
